Joe Meek is the legendary producer who wrote and produced the 1962 hit single by the Tornados, Matt's Dad's band. In a recent messageboard posting Muse mentioned that somewhere on the new album there will be a place for 'the sound of Joe Meek's tape machine being thrown down the stairs'.
